SkyGlobe for Windows seems to have a glitch when executing the program.
If it won't load from the desk top open the SG4WIN folder on your drive, hold down the "Shift Key" and then double click the EXE file.
It should open.
Once you get the program to open it works fine.

If having a problem with downloading SkyGlobe 3.6 or SkyGlobe 40 try right click on the link and then click on Save Link As.

For those who have Windows Vista.

SkyGlobe 3.6 is an older DOS program and like many other dos programs may not compatible with Windows Vista.

Skyglobe 4.0 for Windows will work with Windows Vista.

However, for those who are a steadfast SkyGlobe 3.6 fan I may have found a solution to work around the problem of older DOS programs with Vista.

When I tried to run SkyGlobe 3.6 with Vista I kept getting this pop up warning.
"This system does not support full screen mode. Choose "close" to terminate the application."

So I did a search for "This system does not support full screen mode" and the first link that popped up was
My Digital Life web site.

I clicked on the link and followed the instructions for "Workaround 2: Use Standard VGA Graphics Adapter video graphics driver" and after I reboot the system SkyGlobe 3.6 worked.

But first see if changing the compatibility mode for skyglobe 3.6 will work.
Right click on the EXE file and click on properties.
Click on the Compatibility tab.
Check the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
Then open the drop down box and choose one of the older Windows version then click on Apply.

I hope this solution works for you.
