     Pud had played the saxophone professionally for 65 years.  He started at the age of five, as a child prodigy, with the Brown Family Band.  The family band worked in every state, Canada and Mexico playing Vaudeville, Circuses, carnivals, churches and concerts.

     At 18, he started out on his own, working with dance bands.  Playing with over fifty bands of all types, such as country western (Rice Bros.), Swing Bands (Jimmy Dorsey, Lawrence Welk), Dixieland Bands (Pete Daily, Nappy Lamare, Fire House Five Plus Two, Bob Scoby, Kid Ory, Jack Teagarden, Octave Crosby, Teddy Buckner, Jimmy Ille and Conrad Jones to name a few.

     With his own bands he has worked at; Last Frontier, in Las Vegas - Sardis, Royal Room, Roaring Twenties, in L.A. - Westwood Ho in Phoenix - Riviera, in Chicago, Plus others.

     Recorded with many bands, including his own bands.  He has been in several movies and played many jazz concerts, like Sacramento. Pud is currently appearing in New Orleans at the Blue Angel.
