I'm a self taught Astronomer, bringing astronomy to the public for over 34 years, also for over 20 years a Jackson Square artist.    I was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, 1948 and grew up in Los Angeles where as a teenager began my interest in astronomy and bringing astronomy to the public.

My military services was between 1969 and 1972. I served in Vietnam, State side and Germany.

     I came to New Olreans with my parents in 1973 because my father, Pud Brown, world renowned jazz musician who played played saxophone and clarinet for bands like Jimmy Ille jazz band at Carlo Mantabano's Blue Angle Nightclub on Bourbon street, Palm Court Jazz Cafe and many others.

     My mother was the late Louise Brown, my two sisters are Sandra Wallace and my late sister Pamela Brown.
